What to expect
I create portraits from photographs in a semi-realistic style, I work with acrylic paint on wood or canvas. Work is signed on the side and varnished. I can work to deadlines, but it is nice to allow time frames for completion to vary. While I strive to work quickly, taking time away from the piece is necessary to notice a likeness that is not always obvious when I am in the thick of it..
Sizes
Small ( 29.7cm x 42 cm ) one person £230 / two people £300
Medium ( 50.8 cm x 76.2 cm ) one person £750 / two people £800
Large ( 84.1 cm x 118.8 cm ) one person £950 / two people £1000
I offer framing in a beautiful wood tray frame for an extra £50
If you decide to commission a portrait
1. Email or phone to check availability and confirm size, style, pricing, and desires -

2. Once confirmed, email photos of the subject. A well-lit photo works best but don't worry if all you have is an old, worn photo from the attic. We can make it work!
3. Pay a 50% deposit with your initials and portrait as a reference.
